Maths and 11+ Entrance Examination tuition

Individual and group lessons:

• Students must be in possession of a graphics tablet after the assessment lesson

• Work marked in the lesson for instant feedback

• Feedback at the end of each lesson via email 

• Plenary reflection to gain understanding of how your child feels about their individual learning

• A differentiated approach to learning by ensuring that all students’ levels are taken into consideration and catered for adequately

• Group lessons: peer support (partner and group work) within a fun and conducive learning environment

• Receiving the resources used in the lesson

• Receiving extra resources for your child to consolidate their learning

• Online lessons: receiving the pdf version of the online whiteboard used in the lesson

• An termly assessment to reflect on learning, progress made and next steps

• An initial 10-minute phone consultation to discuss your goals for your child and any concerns that you may have​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Diagnostic assessments

This is a stand-alone service and does not include any online maths tuition.

 

This service includes the following:

• You providing me with essential information about your child's current and previous maths levels and recent maths reports

• Your child completing carefully selected mathematics assessments, including times-tables and division, the Four Operations and Problem-solving and Reasoning, that I will analyse and mark

• With your child's results and my extensive teaching experience, I will be able to guide you effectively in supporting your child to succeed by carefully mapping out their strengths and weaknesses. I will guide you on how you can best support them moving forwards with a clear and realistic plan that suits your needs and schedule

Prices

Initial assessments (including registration fees):

• Individual tuition - initial assessment lesson (1 hour lesson + 1 hour of diagnostics and report writing) - £90

• Paired tuition - initial assessment lesson (1 hour lesson + 1.5 hours of diagnostics and report writing) - £87.50 per student

Lessons:

• Individual tuition - £45 per hour

• Paired tuition - £35 per hour, per student

• Group tuition (3 or more students) - £25 per hour, per student

Assessments:

• Diagnostic assessments - £199 per student
