Every child begins with an Diagnostic Assessment. This enables me to understand your child's current attainment, confidence, learning profile and aspirations before recommending the programme that will best support their progress.

How are group lessons organised?

Students are not placed into groups based solely on their age or school year.

Following the Diagnostic Assessment, every child is carefully matched with learners of a similar:

• Year group

• Mathematical attainment

• Learning pace

• Educational profile

 

Groups are limited to a maximum of four students, ensuring every learner receives individual attention whilst benefiting from collaborative discussion and problem-solving.

 

My child is very able. Will they be challenged?

What does the Initial Learning Assessment involve?

The assessment lasts approximately 60 minutes and provides an opportunity to explore your child's current mathematical understanding, strengths and areas for development.

Following the assessment, you'll receive a summary of the findings together with my recommendation for the most appropriate programme.
